I have only ever had one relationship and once that fell apart, I turned away from falling in love. I have honestly not regretted it, but I admire the courage of those who lay their hearts bare to strangers. I don't have that kind of courage. I don't want my heart broken and I accept that the price for that will occasionally (but not always) be bouts of loneliness. Yet I have friends who I love deeply and for me that is enough. 'Romantic love' is for others, but not for me. Not now, not ever.

Still, at least you got the love you wanted... and hopefully the bike you wanted.Griffinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03863034333159354009noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7953914797454230899.post-13868186189230626132010-07-23T21:53:14.339+01:002010-07-23T21:53:14.339+01:00Wonderful post, full of metaphors of encouragement...Wonderful post, full of metaphors of encouragement to get back in the saddle again, be it a bicycle, a horse, or a relationship!

Thank you!the wild magnoliahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14355836751549469688noreply@blogger.com
